The Foundation SEH is a joint initiative of mortgage providers and is helping consumers to obtain qualified mortgage advice. The SEH developed a system of qualification for mortgage advisers who have demonstrated that they have sufficient knowledge and experience. This knowledge is kept up-to-date by annual obligatory education. Only mortgage advisors who have passed the high standard exams are entitled to carry the title of ‘certified mortgage advisor’ (Erkend Hypotheekadviseur) and use the SEH shield.
